Specialty papers are as much a wall-preparation job as a hanging job. Grasscloth shows every seam, murals arrive as numbered panels, and some textiles need a liner. We review each product against the manufacturer's instructions before the estimate is written.
Designer papers
Cole & Son, Schumacher, Phillip Jeffries, Pierre Frey, Thibaut, York, and the other brands designers specify each come with their own roll sizes, repeats, and paste methods. Send the product page and we will tell you what the installation involves.
Murals
Murals are counted in panels, not rolls, and the wall has to be measured against the printed dimensions before anything is ordered. Send the mural's product page and your wall size.
Grasscloth and textured papers
Natural materials vary from roll to roll and seams are part of the look. The walls need to be smooth and properly primed first, and that preparation is part of the estimate.
What the estimate covers
Your written estimate lists the preparation included and any liner, with removal, repairs, skim coating, and priming priced separately.
